Welcome to South Brent Riding Club

The club was originally founded in 1985 and is an Affiliated British Riding Club, located in Area 19, an active area with many organised team events. Have a look around the website and if you are not already a member, we hope it might encourage you to join!

A small and friendly club we enjoy membership from Juniors, Seniors and non riders, catering for a range of capabilities. We have members who want to ride just for fun, those who want to improve their horsemanship and those who want to compete in the affiliated teams. We have happy hackers and high level competitors! We aim to support everyone in the South Brent and surrounding areas have fun and achieve their dreams with their equine friend.

All members have the opportunity to participate in training clinics across the disciplines, learning more about Natural Horsemanship and other demonstrations, including Show Jumping and Flatwork Clinics, Trec Tasters, and team events. We also organise social events and talks throughout the year including our infamous quizzes ! 

Our clinics and training events are mainly held at venues in South Brent and Ivybridge, both indoors and outside, helping to ensure we have something for everyone all year round.

Our Committee are a very friendly team with differing experience and skills,  representing our membership base. We are always looking for ways to improve the Club to provide beneficial and interesting events for its members and would love to hear from you!
