We use your Personal Data to manage your BRC membership - full details of how this will be used is detailed below.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of our members and equines is of paramount importance to the club. To support this our coaches are fully insured, with either themselves or our committee trained and present at events should the need for help arises.
Regrettably accidents do happen and we work closely with the BRC to ensure adequate club support is in place, alongside specific Riding club activity insurance. Please ask a member of the committee for more information.
The club recommends that anyone who owns, rides or looks after a horse is advised to carry public liability insurance cover, because they may be legally liable to pay compensation for any damage or injury caused by their horse. Personal injury compensation claims can sometimes run into the millions, meaning that anyone who is uninsured risks losing their home and any other assets.
