Membership

We are really pleased that you are looking to join the South Brent Riding Club. Whatever you are looking for, SBRC has something for everyone. The club is able to offer full affiliation to the British Riding Clubs for Junior or Senior members.

Juniors are invited to become members and take part in clinics, competitions and to represent the Riding Club at Area Qualifier events under the appropriate sections, for age group and experience - please see full details of events in our Area 19 page.

The same BRC rules apply for Seniors and Juniors regarding BRC Membership. Horse and rider attire, behaviour, eligibility & horse vaccinations, (for entry to competitions), Codes of Conduct and Rules can be viewed on the BRC website, along with information about all Area Qualifier and Championship events taking place.

Parental consent is required for Juniors, 17yrs and under, wishing to join the club (minimum age is 10years old). The BHS / BRC maintains a strict Safeguarding Policy with full information available on the BRC website. SBRC have committee members who have accreditation and safeguarding training in line with BRC requirements.

BRC members have third party insurance cover while taking part in affiliated BRC-organised activities. For further information, contact South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB) on 01708 850000.

Membership is now on a 12 month rolling basis from the date of joining.

Membership Prices for 2024

New Members - £35 (Senior and Junior)

(There is a platform charge of joining of £1.50)
Please Note: All membership cards will be sent direct to each member by way of an e-card. This supports the BRC’s sustainability pledge to help the climate challenge and reduce carbon footprint and plastic.
