Ridden and Inhand Working Equitation with Tina Fitzgibbon

  • Budleigh Equestrian Ivybridge, England, PL21 United Kingdom (map)

The club is fortunate to be able to offer the opportunity to book a session of Working Equitation either ridden or in-hand with Tina Fitzgibbon who is an Association for British Working Equitation (ABWE) approved instructor and an ABWE Candidate Judge.
Her interest in Working Equitation stemmed from a love of teaching with obstacles, giving both horse and rider tangible reasons for their flatwork which can turn something that some find boring into fun!
Working Equitation is a real test of the the relationship between horse and rider combining dressage with obstacles. In competitions it usually includes 3 phases. Dressage, an ease of handling obstacle course and a speed obstacle course.
It combines the fundamentals of dressage with the precision of riding through a series of various obstacles. Horses and riders can achieve remarkable relationships by doing something that is enormously fun.
